Here we have a son, and for that a wilderness. We, new parents both, have hope in the ancient wisdom that by turning into parents we know God a little better: whether by providing food the child will never appreciate, or by forgiving unimaginable evils, abiding nonetheless. These, we imagine, are some of the peculiar graces we're promised.
Yay! Congrats, mom and dad! I knew Jonah would arrive very soon... and 1 hr of "push!"ing is not bad at all. Way to go, we look forward to meeting your little one.
